About Me

My name is Erin Smyth and I’m from Waterford, Ireland. I’m a recent graduate from University College Cork with a Postgraduate Degree in Innovation Through Design Thinking. Here I developed my designing thinking skills through an Action Design Research project, where I used both theory and user research to develop a problem definition and an artefact.

I graduated from the University of Limerick with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Design. Throughout the four years earning my Bachelors Degree , I found an interest in UX Design. I’ve developed UX design skills as well as research skills through projects during this course. 

I’m passionate about UX design because I enjoy studying users and creating products that are shaped by their thoughts and experiences.
